Where To Stay in my Tanzania Safari?

Introduction to our accommodation styles

ACCOMMODATIONS2.jpeg

Because tourism is an important sector in Tanzania, there are numerous places to stay when you visit. Where you go will narrow down some of your alternatives, but how you want to experience Tanzania, rather than just where you want to go, can also influence your selections.

Every lodging in Tanzania can be classified into four'styles': luxury, comfort plus, comfort, and basic. Each has its own distinct attraction, so consider how you want to spend your time in Tanzania while making your decision. What comes to mind when you think of a once-in-a-lifetime trip?

Luxury accommodation style

If you want to travel around Tanzania in style, you should definitely consider staying at a luxury hotel. The attention to detail is what most sticks out when travelling on safari and staying in a deluxe resort. Most, if not all, of these locations include complete five-star hotel amenities such as swimming pools, exquisite rooms, and a variety of eating options.

These accommodations are for individuals who want to enjoy plush, lavish, and high-quality hospitality while on safari in Tanzania. These are frequently enormous luxury chain lodges or luxury camps that provide our guests with private safari driver-guides. You have first-hand access to the wonders of a Tanzanian safari when you travel with your guide.

Comfort plus accommodation style

If you've selected to travel Tanzania in comfort plus accommodations, you've made a wise decision. While it may not have the glitz of a luxury hotel, you will almost certainly be staying in good quality while on safari.

There are some well-known chain lodges as well as some higher-end permanent camps among these options. These are frequently large accommodations with multiple rooms, numerous modern conveniences and possibilities, and always your own bathroom. You'll have your own private safari driver-guide in your own vehicle, as is customary.

Comfort accommodation style

Traveling in comfort is mainly reserved for those who wish to get a real Tanzanian safari experience without totally committing to camping. Some tented camps are among the 'comfort' accommodations, however they are frequently pre-erected and permanent sites - more 'glamping' safari than camping.

Smaller, more intimate lodges are also available for comfort. One distinct advantage of comfort accommodations is that you will not have to share your restroom. As you enjoy this classic safari experience, you will still be accompanied by a safari driver-guide.

Basic accommodation style

Our tour's basic accommodations are not as plush or lavish as some of the other options, but they are also not simple. For those on a tighter budget, the basic option still includes a safari driver-guide and a safari chef who will setup your tents, make your meals, and break camp!

You can travel with up to three guests in one car with our basic accommodations; for parties of four or more, we will have a support vehicle on available to help deliver camping equipment and food. There is a communal bathroom, but you'll be so busy on safari that it won't matter!

Conclusion

Because there are so many alternatives, you don't have to stick to one theme for your entire trip: we can create a custom itinerary for you that includes more than one type of accommodation. And, regardless of which accommodation you choose, you can be confident that you will always be paired with the greatest safari vehicle and a professional driver-guide!
