Visiting Tanzania in March
Weather and landscape

March is less predictable than the other months! While the first few days of March are typically dry, it is not uncommon for the rain to return a little earlier and March to be wet, transforming the landscape from a tawny beige to a vivid green.
Temperatures on the mainland range from 16°C to 29°C, while temperatures on the islands can reach 32°C. While the rainy season is likely to begin in March, it will be little disruptive, with many days of sunshine, warmth, and humidity. March is also a great month to avoid crowds!
