In Tanzania, what is the weather like in February? It all depends on where you are! The mainland has temperatures ranging from a cool 16°C (bring a jacket!) to a pleasant 29°C. If you plan on visiting one of our island paradises, expect temperatures to range from 23°C to 32°C. Make sure you have sunscreen on hand!

Because February signals the conclusion of our brief rains, everything is lush, green, and humid. You may want to bring a raincoat for the sporadic showers, but it's worth coming at this time of year because the view is breathtaking. You'll also benefit from the most average hours of sunshine we get all year, which means the best photographic circumstances accessible anywhere in the country!

Tanzania is a traveler's paradise, with a plethora of wonderful lodging alternatives to select from. February is prime season for the Northern and Eastern circuits, so accommodations might fill up quickly.

Don't you think the once-in-a-lifetime sighting should be carefully timed? So, when is the greatest time to witness the Great Migration? February is a fantastic time to observe the migration in action, and it's also the best time of year to see some calving. You could get to see a wildebeest calf being born!
It's a great time to observe some newborn calves, and with more newborns comes more sightings of the predators that hunt them. Nothing surpasses the thrill of seeing a hunt in the wild, and if you come to visit us in February, your chances of seeing one are fantastic!

The mountain awaits you because your heart is bent on adventure. When, though, is the greatest season to climb Mount Kilimanjaro? February is an excellent month for your climb because it is warm and you have bright, sunny skies in the mornings and nights, which enhances the beauty of the scenery. The afternoons are often cloudy, with the possibility of rain.
The month of February is probably the warmest on the mountain, which is lovely - but it may get congested as trekkers throng to Mount Kilimanjaro in February. Make sure to plan your journey with us well in advance so you can take advantage of climbing during the warmest month.

February is one of our favourite times to visit Zanzibar. Let your worries melt away in the deliciously warm weather, with temperatures averaging a summery 35°C most days and cool down in the vibrant blue lagoons and bays populating Zanzibar’s coast.
The Zanzibar Archipelago is also fantastic for exploring: February is the perfect time to explore the seas to see pods of dolphins, take a tour of UNESCO World Heritage Site Stone Town, or even take a tour of the spice farms to see where the Spice Islands got their name from!
