Spend one night in Tarangire National Park taking in it’s amazing array of diverse wildlife.  With vast open expanses dotted by Acacia and Baobab trees, this park earns its name from the Tarangire River — the lifeblood flowing through the park, attracting large herds of zebra, antelope, buffalo, and wildebeest in the dry season.
While Tarangire contains the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, this park is best known for its unrivaled elephant sightings.  Here in the “Land of the Elephants,” it’s not uncommon to see herds of 20-70 elephants roaming together at once or basking in the park’s burnt orange mud, tinting their skin an ocherous hue.
Next, spend two nights at the Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest intact caldera sheltering one of the most breathtaking wildlife havens on earth.  Often described as the 8th wonder of the world, the Crater, measuring 10 miles wide with walls 2,000 feet high, is said to contain the highest density of wildlife in all of Africa.
